Yea probably for the best that they didn't go down the road. THat said if I was mega rich (Like Musk rich) there are so many games I would probably fund just for the heck of it.
I'm gonna sideload it on my old not in use android phone for the heck of it.

A while ago I posted this:
Magic and something like Good Morning are basically indistinguishable to me from the perspective of just being a mash of styles, sounds, noises, vocalfx. Absolutely not my jam.
This was a mistake. The song I meant to refer to was "We Love you", my bad

Why does everyone hate Easier? haha I love it.
There's no way the solo isn't inspired by some of the work on Chinese Democracy (which is a good thing)

Easier solo is the saving grace
it feels so gross in the track list, i remember it grew on me a bit but that didn't stick i guess lmfao

I love the solo and the chorus… that should’ve been the vibe for the whole song imo, that’s the only track here where I feel like something feels egregiously out of place. The sludgy butt rock just doesn’t mesh well with what is genuinely a very good chorus I guess I really don’t like the confetti sounding synths randomly popping off during the solo either tbh.
Overall, I think the song is fine, lyrically it’s good, but ya it’s by far the worst thing here.

Yeah, G's my favorite here alongside Game Over. Love how proggy/mathy the instrumental bits are

I got a feeling they’ll almost certainly play both, look at the setlists they did for South America. It seems like in their less traveled areas they seem a little more dedicated to busting out deep cuts or songs they don’t play as much anymore. I’ve seen them at least five times and it took until this Chicago show for me to hear Gunslinger and Almost Easy, which are def two of their more popular tracks that they just don’t play live much. Also never seen them play Seize the Day which is just shocking to me

Valid, it’s not for everyone, especially if you’re already a fan. Going from something like Nightmare to this is truly a wild trajectory.

I really completely get it. At one point Waking the Fallen was literally my favorite album of all time, and it still holds a very special place in my heart as the album that got me into heavier music.
And I guess by that I kinda just mean screamed vocals because it’s really not that heavy compared to kvlt shit, but blending those kinds of vocals with the super catchy choruses and almost progressive song structures… I just don’t really think there’s another album out there that’s quite like it. Certainly not one that’s as good as it.
also beautiful to see any STST love, that album is so fucking underrated. I do think that Waking the Fallen basically perfected the blueprint that STST laid out but there’s still some killer tracks on there. I swear to god I will eventually get my full A7X song ranking out there, but I know that Turn the Other Way, Shattered By Broken Dreams, We Come Out At Night, and An Epic of Time Wasted will all land high up on it
