Tbh Rowan I'd advise listening to Eye of Every Storm first.
That record is far more ambient and warm than this, which takes mutiple listens to grasp and definitely isn't their most accessible record.

This is usually the album I recommend to people who are interested in listening to Neurosis for the first time, rather than TEOES. It's more exciting. I just tell them not to bother if they are distracted or unprepared for dedicated listening. 2am in a pitch black room works best :]
