Yeah The Metro is excellent but I wouldn't necessarily call it small tbh. About 1500 capacity if I recall correctly

Objectively great, if you haven't heard their other offerings. Great songs across the board but a lack of riffs and a bit conventional with the songwriting. If this is your first time hearing the band, this is a 4. If not, a lot of "stock" on this thing. 3.7/5

Can't say I agree with the "lacks of riffs" critique

Both this and Private Music for me shares the same problem. Both very good but it doesnt stick with me. This sound more dynamic than PM tho thats for sure

I chose to bump it down to a 4.0. Like Futures and Lasssie said, it doesn't stick with me like Stereo Grief. First half is incredibly strong but I've been moving on as soon as Technicolor Blues hits. Not that it's a bad song but I just find the second half of the album just doesn't hold my attention.

Satellite in Love is a ton of fun but generally find it hard to pick favs - really consistent front to back

Stereo grief rips and yet that’s the one I hardly played besides Sick & Lavish. Mostly just cause I forget about EPs
