Its really telling how die hard fans have to try to keep this guy relevant when there's a reason he dropped off. He's not just musically irrelevant but culturally irrelevant. He's not the same guy who debated Bill O'Reilly after columbine, he's a sexual predator like p diddy or drake. The same exact situation happened with Depp v heard, people got really emotional and said the most out of pocket stuff because they can't imagine one of the most beloved movie stars as a bad guy. You can sympathize with him having issues but you can't disregard what those issues can lead too. Don't let yourself believe it can't happen when we have so much evidence that predators can thrive in the entertainment industry.

Even if you just want to talk about this musically there's no way you can justify this as a 5 without it looking like your compensating. Don't buy into his narrative, he just uses his fans to maintain his credibility when he really doesn't deserve it. He's absolutely the person that's holding his band back which is a shame because he used to and still does attract talented people.

No, look more into the case in the uk and why she won that one but not the us one (technically*) Depp had total control over the situation, Heard was reliant on Depp for housing for not just her but her friends and family, she could only see doctors he approved, he was an incel baby that bitched whenever she got a part in a movie with romantic leads. Everything he did was to put himself in control of the relationship. The only fault of Heard's was that she really cared about him. She admitted to hitting him once but it was because he opened a door and scraped her toe amd her fight instinct kicked in. His staff backs up Depp was a mess and only involved themselves when things got bad.

*Depp took the decision to go to trial in virgina because the state has the least strict anti_slapp suit laws. Depp won because he had more resources and frankly better lawyers.

You gotta be certifiable to watch the (public, for all to see for themselves, btw) trial, see everything that Heard said and did, and then still conclude that she was nothing but a victim in that relationship. Depp was definitely an addict and a controlling, jealous partner. But Heard was physically and emotionally abusive. To say she "just really cared about him" is hypocritical nonsense when you would be condemning Depp for the same things she did to him. Not to mention that her abusive behavior extends to previous relationships as well which was seemingly not the case with Depp based on his Ex's statements.

If you're talking about the relationship with Taysa she came out and said the situation was misinterpreted by police and didn't press any charges. Did you also miss the part where when she hit him it was because of something Johnny did? Usually because he was drunk, angry, or belligerent? Also it was her bed the poop was on and it was the dog.

I didn't miss anything. I watched the trial myself. I'm just not hypocritically making excuses and believing everything that one side had to say while condemning the other and falling into confirmation bias on everything that I want to be true. You do you though.

But see, you are. I also saw the trial and saw people say she was sniffing coke on the stand and that she was a master manipulator while also saying she was a terrible actor. You're playing yourself. Most people don't understand that court operates on a different set of principles than real life. Depp knew the best way to win the us case because he lost the uk one, the whole thing was just an excuse to make more money for the people that stood to benefit from the situation at the time. That's it. The relationship was toxic and they shouldn't have been together, that doesn't make Depp a victim. Doesn't make Heard an abuser.
