Emo rap was burgeoning for years before Finn got his grubby little colonizer hands on it. I mean GothBoiClique was founded by Adam McIlwee (formerly of Tigers Jaw) aka Wicca Phase Springs Eternal. Lil Peep was finding success before his death. Finn didn't do shit for that scene.

We've seen many times that douchebags attracht other doucebags, so I'm not surprised.

I don’t even know when it happened. Like I always was aware of him but it felt like overnight so many people I know started loving this band.



Like, I’m the “metal” guy and I’ve had four separate people, none of which are really into rock or metal, hit me up asking me to go to the Falling in Reverse concert when they were here in like September. Every one of them was so surprised when I was like “oh no thanks”, one of them asked why and I was just like dude they fucking suck. And there was at least another five people I know that I saw posting videos of the show on snap. Like jesus fucking christ guys, literally any other band is better.



It’s not even a mainstream thing either. If any of them had asked me to go to any number of huge arena shows with them I’d just be glad to have more friends that are into heavier music but god this is fucking horrid. The vocals across the entire thing are so fucking garish, and honestly I could totally excuse how tasteless just literally everything is about Ronnie Radke if any of the instrumentals were worth a shit. And it moves at a rapid clip of seeing which popular band from 20 years ago they could rip off. It’s legit probably the worst album I’ve heard in the last five years.
