On first listen that intro really stood out....I just wasn't sure the rest of the track lived up to it?

This new one will need a lot of replays.

Their shit really had to click for me

And even then it wasn't like a watershed moment where their music all made sense, it was more like one track clicking every so often until eventually they almost all did

I find the longer music takes to grow on you the longer it takes to get sick of it, I guess because it generally means its a bit more complex

Sometimes wish they wouldn't abandon riffs and melodies so quickly though, it's like damn this is do- oh it's over, hopefully they return to it - nope

Do it, Scoot!

Yeah my only minor complaint that may be the major factor to With Love being the superior album

that sick part at 2:43 in I have a key to your house and only last 10 seconds :'(

My other gripes are the vocals being too quiet/buried for their own good sometimes and some tracks end slightly abruptly where a longer outro would have served them better as in let the music linger longer before the fade out

And not including blood pony and tinted civic which are two of the best tracks they've done but I just slipped them into the album playlist because they were clearly recorded in the same sessions so they fit in well enough

tinted civic after bedrot and blood pony after taravista seems to work alright but I usually listen to stuff on shuffle anyway

I think I like the new one slightly more than this but mob dad is still my favorite track overall

sidenote do you guys know any software or anything that automatically equalizes volume between tracks? sick of playlists with some songs that are 50% louder than others because of the way they were mastered

So uh, nobody thought to invite the singer into the same room as the recording equipment huh?
