you saying this album is definitely metal is whats dumb as fuck. these guys laid the groundwork for what later became recognized as metal but their early stuff was still more hard rock than anything

That's true. They used a lot of blues influences too. "Bluenotes" or semitones are everywhere... wouldn't call this blues though. Probably wouldn't put this on rock radio during the 70s either, next Foreigner and Fleetwood Mac either... just saying, not debating

Yeah, I feel like 70-75 was sabbath, 75-80 was priest, and then 80s were metallica and slayer, and then it just grew from there
