Finally saw these guys tonight and they were INCREDIBLE. The new dude from Black Crown Initiate did an admirable job filling in for Xen and Tim was just fantastic. The live renditions sounded so faithful to the studio versions.

Usually skip the mosh pit these days but had to jump in during their final song of the set.

So glad you had a great time, Phil! They do indeed put on an amazing show. A couple years back I took the Amtrak from my home state over to Seattle to see them play and it was worth every hour on that overnight train trip. I would see them again in a heartbeat if they ever came reasonably close to me on a tour.



As a bass player myself, Martino is a sight to behold--he is so phenomenally talented.

They came to my city last year and unfortunately it was scheduled for the exact week I was going to be out of the country. I actually came close to canceling that trip just to see these guys live lol.

But glad I caught them this time around, I was grinning ear to ear during their entire set.

And yeah, their bass player is fantastic as well, so many great bass licks throughout their songs.

Their set on 70000 Tons had the best sound of any show I've been to. It was so quiet and clear you could talk to the person next to you (so nobody did).

After seeing Ne Obliviscaris tonight playing Citadel and Exul in full plus an encore, I have to say they imo, are the best metal band this side of the century. The musicianship of this band is exceptional. There are no dull moments. The sound quality tonight was also the best I've heard of any band at that venue. Psycroptic were brilliant as always as well.

Yeah this band is incredible and I could definitely be persuaded to call these guys the metal band of the century so far.

Death gets the 1900s though lol

These guys are coming to my neck of the woods in a few weeks. Not a huge prog guy beyond a few bands, but would I be sorely missing out not being at that show?

They put on a good show

They are fantastic live. I just saw them a few days ago and they crushed.

Instrumentally, they come really close to matching what they sound like on their album which I find really impressive.

Definitely recommend going.
