I came back to this earlier today, it was a good listen but I recognised very little of it so had to drop my rating by 1. I wish they'd stop releasing such forgettable stuff.

I feel this band has finally reached the point for me where I just have no interest much anymore. Feels like they've been doing the same thing over and over again and it all just feels the same. In one ear and out the other for like the past 4 albums now. It's not bad, it's just not memorable at all and beyond tiresome at this point.
Rescue and Restore was the last thing I can say I really enjoyed from them but ever since just been a whole lot of forgettable stuff.

I'm glad this is so much better than Guardians, but it seems like these guys are sort of "done" if that makes sense. Still, this album has some bops on it, for sure. I wouldn't be opposed to them hanging up the ABR label and just doing something different, even staying as the same group. Dropping the expectations attached to the name might reflect more of who they are and what they're up to nowadays. I would much prefer that to another band going the way of In Flames, especially if it means we never get another release like Guardians.
