It's exactly the opposite for me. I really dig their first 2, but this one I couldn't get into. Something's wrong with my head, I love the raw stuff and not much the polished.

@gabba, I did find this one much less immediately accessible than the previous two - ultimately, I do believe the melodies here eventually become just as infectious as their previous work, but it took me longer to "get it".

This started as a hard 3 for me, definitely a grower but has a good deal more songwriting dexterity and dare I say depth than the ditsy singalong factor they used to ride on - bunch of these tracks hang on Very Specific Moments and refuse to open up until you pin down where they are
