Well of course, Storm. This IS an NFL thread.
And I don't know man, Brady has done so much with diverse casts of players to the point where nobody can stand up against him. Maybe if you're talking pure raw talent/prospect, then you can make some argument IN THEORY, but Brady has lasted long enough at such a high level that you could divide his career into three HoF players.
Manning and Montana had an argument for a while, but Brady has too many rings to make it remotely close.
Packers fans are very spoiled lol, I am intrigued for the moment when they no longer have a HoF QB under center.

Peyton Manning is my favorite player of all time and I wasn't happy when I had to finally concede that Brady is the GOAT but you can't deny it given how long he's dominated the sport. I don't like the "how many rings" argument in sports because it's a team game but Brady has come up clutch so many fucking times with so many different squads. He's like a Terminator where he never stops coming no matter what the score is.
Manning might be the smartest QB and Rodgers the most physically talented, but Brady is the complete package and I'd take him over any other QB in the league.
I'm going to go scrub myself clean for saying all of that now and make an apology offering to my Nick Foles SB MVP bobblehead.

You make very valid points. The point is that, as much as I don’t like saying it, Brady is unquestionably the GOAT.
@Mars Yeah it was pretty hilarious. My wife’s not even a huge football person at all but she did say something like, “God, he never fails to disappoint me.”
Otherwise, football trash talking is in full bloom out here.

Also, just out of deep curiosity, what’s like the median age on this thread if I’m 31? Or is this not something we ask here… Seriously though I’m just curious.

The big thing that should close the debate forever and always is how impressive Brady was when the moment was big. Manning had a history of having subpar to awful playoff performances despite being incredible in the regular season. And while Manning enjoyed a stacked WR corps, Brady generally dealt with a revolving door of guys. His best years in terms of WR corps (Welker + Moss) went without getting a ring. Gronk was amazing but also heavily reduced by injuries.
I went from hating Brady to silently rooting for him a while ago. We are privileged to witness the Jordan of the NFL and I just want him to run the score up at this point; make every record he sets untouchable.
I'm in my mid-20s for what it's worth.

I hated Brady until he left the Patriots and showed he wasn't such a robot. I'm also of the mind that I might as well appreciate that I watched the whole career of the GOAT instead of constantly hating the guy. I'll be able to tell my hypothetical kids and grandkids about seeing him play.
I'll never forgive him for beating the Birds in the 2005 Super Bowl though.

Y'all got him back though. Big Dick Nick is inevitable.
And the fact that we basically ended the Pats dynasty feels pretty good. Including beating Bellicheck with his own clock management loophole.

Packers fans have very short memories (unless it has to do with beating the Bears in a game that never matters), all the brain damage and inbreeding, so I honestly doubt they'll be hung up on Rodgers when he is gone, many have already said they don't need him lmao

Quite a lot of Packers fans dislike Favre now for sure, dude has been a tool his whole life to the point where it's impossible to look past it.
I crave an NFC dominated by the Lions. It's time. Let Campbell reign.

I'd like to see the Lions do well. Always thought their Silver and Blue color scheme was underrated. the idea of bandwagon lions fans is amusing

I cheer for them every year, Lions fans have dealt with enough and they deserve to have some time in the spotlight.
Titans Fandom is perpetual suffering but even we haven't gotten as low as the Lions.

I would love to see the Lions do well. They fight like hell every game. And I felt a bit bad for Goff the way the Stafford trade was done.
Also I know the Packers are overrated and stuff but I’m stuck with ‘em if I want to have any form of PR with that side of the fam. Good thing the rest of my family is in Israel!
Also kinda surprised no one has mentioned the Chargers as a serious contender this year. I have a major soft spot for Herbert.

chargers fall into the trap of "looking good on paper and then shit hits the fan by week 3"
lol a Chargers vs Lions super bowl would be great

Lions fan here, keep the love flowing lol
Herbert is the real deal, just inexperienced, and there's been bad coaching for the Chargers. They have a lot of pieces to be a contender
