it is pretty crazy, Bilbo and I never anticipated this even with the mild fanfare the first album got on here

Shapeless is mainly the product of spending quarantine learning half of the Tallest Man on Earth's discog on guitar

Also you probably wouldn't guess it, but Summit is in the same tuning as Burden of Tomorrow and probably wouldn't exist if I didn't learn that song on guitar

Well that's my favorite The Wild Hunt song so no wonder it sounds great

I'm an idiot and mixed up my own songs. Shapeless is the song in the same tuning as Burden of Tomorrow. Summit is in the same tuning as Troubles Will be Gone/A lion's Heart/Leading me Now

ye open G

also When The Oceans Ran Dry and Worms from the first album are in an insane tuning Tim made up, very fun chord shapes if you wanna try it (Eb Ab Eb G Bb F)

Yeah it's open G. I remember randomly wanting to try writing a happy song in the happiest sounding tuning I could think of.

I failed miserably and Summit popped out instead

i always resonate with this kinda emo more when completely whacked out, not a backhand

tbqh most of my favourite tracks are ones I've either found or stuck with mid-wipeout

mainly want to jam Ruby haunt and sleep though

I finally gave this a listen! Admittedly nothing particularly clicked with me on the first go (it all sounds good though!) but I think it could grow on me especially if I dig into the lyrics so I’ll for sure be giving this a few more tries.
