or pumping iron with some bicep curls to the ethel cain lamentation “Your mama calls me sometimes to see if i’m doing well, and i lie to her and say that i’m doing fine when really i’d kill myself to hold you one more time”

@Colton Sweet, I haven't tried a noise canceling headset since my Bose Quietcomforts I used 15+ years ago. I remember those put a weird distortion effect on the mids and highs. I assume the tech is much better now.

The magic of a significant headphone upgrade is next to none. It makes your whole library sound new.

damn fr? i had the exact opposite reaction, i feel like the big explosions at the ends of several of the songs hit crazy hard. house in nebraska is the first one that comes to mind, those heavy washed out drum hits combined with the distorted guitar lead are beautiful

Being in Florida, hoping to see her at the Tally show. Def best Thor I’ve come across lately.

Insanely jealous of y’all getting to see her live, I’m just praying she’ll have a DC area show someday.

I’m just gonna say it. This album is perfect. The closing with Sun Bleached Flies and Strangers is so amazing

Really enjoying this. My morning commute, often by walking as we have had good weather at the moment, has been enhanced so much by the depth of this record. What a debut!

there's just too much dreary, slow-paced moments on this for me to recommend it highly, but it does have some stellar moments and a couple of my favourite songs of 2022. hopefully it grows a bit more
