I can actually name a ton of albums where every track is amazing lol but maybe I’m not as nit picky as most. Like I said I love All Candy I just don’t think it fits the album vibe. Should have been a stand alone single or something.
Album still rules. EB still better. That is all

i can name an album from both word alive and amity where every track is amazing
also yea seems like a lot of ppls (myself included) all candy complaints have a bit more to do with its tone matching the rest of this material than its individual quality since it is a good song. i dont even think it shoulda been scrapped just moved a little further back from track 2

Deceiver is the only album worth listening to by TWA and even that one sounds like the definitive "2010 WarpedTour-core" album
Tried revisiting it a couple months ago and thought to myself yeah, this is definitely a product of its time.

I think Greyhaven has one of the most unique sounds with general Metalcore/whatevercore genre right now. People keep trying to definitively define their genre and sound and it’s leading to some interesting answers so far lol….

I digged anything before life cycles. Hounds of Anubis is still a jam

Amity however used to be awesome. Can still jam Chasing Ghosts and Youngbloods to this day.
LTOTM had some cool songs too, but since then they've been completely sterile

Deceiver was a pretty sick album ngl. Some of it still holds up for me
With they’d kept the techy aggressive sound. Dudes were super talented at the time

nash and onions, that's completely reasonable. it's just weird that aside from you both, many are just saying that with "great album". Like homie, what other tracks are great to then? let's talk about that. this place just turns into looking at the negative sometimes. main reason i hardly ever comment on news posts.

Jay, right. Deceiver ain't it in 2022. It's full of nostalgia, but it can't escape the early 10's for me.

Can I say I never liked TWA? Or are we not allowed to say anything negative anymore? 😆

Nope. All discussion from this point forward is a circle jerk.

I thought deceiver was the way better album at the time life cycles was released, but I liked both. Tbh neither one are something I’d listen to now though. Their sound didn’t age well for me lol

And yeah this 4.1 album thread has a lot of nitpicks and complaints from people that have also rated it highly lmao. Bit surprising but def not the first time it’s happened here on sput haha
I’m gonna do my part and not complain about all candy again….

Finally got a couple solid listens in. It's a pretty true continuation of their sound - a lot to love for Empty Black fans. As a whole, this one feels a bit wilder but not quite as emotive and memorable as EB to me, but that's fine. It's a slightly different beast and I dig it
