Silent Planet and this band are not remotely similar... Volumes is more influenced by Meshuggah (not just the riffs, but the harsh vocals too) and use R&B vocals in the music. Comparing SP to this band is nonsense.

They even come from the same city, play in the same subgenre of metal, with just tinges of who inspired what. nonsense is a bit of an euphemism, but ok. ;) I was drawing parallels, and the other disc for me is better on pretty much all aspects.

volumes is abut steez. and metaphysics. and girls making you sad. and los angeles beefcore. and transcendent moments.



silent planet is slam poetry with good metalcore/post rock music.
