yeah that's the really nice thing about Leprous, none of their albums are really that long, which is something you don't see often when it comes to prog.

What albums have 15 tracks? Jeez! Also, Tall Poppy Syndrome, Congregation and Malina were all an hour plus, it's not like that's *not* long

Well at least we’ll always have the first 4 albums

still have to spin this a few more times to fully absorb the vibe of this for a few days
but i can easily see this becoming as impactful to me as pitfalls and malina was.

almost feels like a B side album in the best way possible, like steal this album which is my favorite soad record to this day!
the more adventurous spirit is certainly here.

I haven't returned to it much since release week but I'll give it another spin before I settle on a final opinion. I remember it being good, and I can hear the singles in my head, but some of the other songs have sank into the background.

I find some tracks kinda underwhelming after listening to it today again, a 3.5 seems more accurate now for me. Is still a nice album tho.

Both this and Pitfalls have grown off a fair bit lately...

Yeah I hear ya. This fell of faster for me. At least Pitfalls had The Sky Is Red which is easily one of their best tracks.

I've strayed a bit from this release. It's very capturing, but feel like sth's missing to make it as likeable as their previous ones. Pitfalls was so unapoligetically pop and yet heavy with feelings. This is nice, but I might bump it down to 3.5 eventually.

I still enjoy Bilateral and Pitfalls more than this, but it's a solid 3rd place for me.

I'm kind of surprised by how creatively their arrangements still hold up at this point. Especially when there's only so much chorus melodies or phrases that eventually will start to make your songs sound sameish.
