I have no shame in giving this a 5. Their first record I've actually been out and bought on vinyl, haven't stopped listening to it all week.

It's breathtaking, and that's not hyperbole. There's not an ounce of shame in buying this on vinyl.

Also I like the idea of Springsteen more than I actually like Springsteen @Colton, so this delivers the goods

Inspired by springsteen > the idea of springsteen = springsteen itself
note how springsteen is an "it"

I also agree I listen to so much Bruce influenced stuff but rarely listen to Bruce himself. No real idea why.

I might be the most predictable / "brand-wielding" user in this site's history. I'm not sure if that's such a good thing.

It looks good on you and at this point we should all understand that you are selfaware and you fully embrace your brand unlike others cough Buddy Neilson cough who hype up and pander and never deliver on the hyperbole he creates as a matter of fact im pouring gasoline on the senses fail page and have a set of matches.

I like The Gaslight Anthem and a bunch of other Springsteen-esque stuff as much as the next guy, but definitely can't agree here. Prime era Springsteen (I'd define it as his second album through Born In The USA) is one of the best runs ever in music.
