The worst thing about culture wars is that it has rotted peoples' brains to the point where they are incapable of engaging with a piece of art as a sincere expression of ideas. Everything is 'propaganda' and 'woke,' because said folks can only understand media as a form of social currency. It just isn't possible for other people to have different world views. *Definitely* can't be that.

The distinction you draw between state and private enterprise is sort of a very 20th century one though LilLioness, especially with the neoliberal project effectively eroding the divide between private business lobbies and conservative politics in many western democracies over the last 40-odd years. Not to say that Gojira in specific are propaganda.

At the same time we, Russian people, cannot openly criticize and throw facts, your social media simply bans anything, thats is not playing their “ruzzia is bad” narrative. All those woke metal bands are just marching with their leaders in to oblivion, their stance is just as vomit inducing and straight hypocritical, as any of current “woke” ideas. Your civilization is in self destruction mode and you dont see that, that shows me that u are typical brain washed westerner with zero awareness and logic to flow through your brain.
