yea he was pretty straightforward and unequivocal. willing to give him the benefit of the doubt

Guy no doubt believed some heinous shit and was perfectly content to associate with terrible people at an age he should've known better, but as long as his past doesn't inform who he is now, I'm not all that concerned.

I'm not gonna judge someone too harshly for being an edgy teenager. I think many of us probably have things from our teenage years we're embarrassed about... some obviously worse than others

Teenagers are actually pretty terrible at associating with the right people though. People really seem to get better at distinguishing between shitty and non shitty people in their 20s
