Acid Hologram is a good song

problem isn’t the delivery (it’s usually damn good) it’s how chino could’ve wrote better lyrics
that’s why I can look past P/T’s lyrics

"someone needs to tell me chino's current BMI before i can determine if i like this or not"
Oscillating somewhere between minor obesity and outright die-a-beet-us.

this is a good soundtrack for male pattern baldness

No wolfe, you said this will get overhyped to hell and then in the same breath listed all the other albums that got overhyped to hell
My point was that there's two different "types" of "hyping" something, before you've even heard the damn thing and after you've heard it. And therein lies the difference between Gore and this.

Acid Hologram is the only Gore song that I truly love. Some other songs are good. Most are average though, which by this band's lofty standards is a fail.

Back in 2006 sure, but tbf he's been quite steady since the 2010's. He looked like he put on some size during Gore's cycle but he's back in pretty reasonable shape for an almost 50 year old.

Gore honestly had me pretty convinced these guys would never release something worth paying attention to again. It's not even that it was that bad, it just had the feel of a band slipping into mediocrity
Happy I'm being proven wrong by this new one

might just be that Im in a good mood but Im quite enjoying my relisten of Gore. Doomed User is better than I remember too, outside of the weird thrash-influenced riffs

definitely a difference
one is a flippant emphasis
the other would sound as if I’m negging the heck out of it
going back to your types of hype - a third one is they hype based on the singles where most of the hype is derived from
