The Rise of Denial isn't even a top 3 Faith [2]
This is indeed better than Tragic Idol, which is slightly better than/on par with Faith.

Eww no. TI is the weakest of new PL.

@Agreed Dream, I hate the production there and Nick is trying too hard to do what he can't anymore. I think switching to the growling did wonders for him and the band

Absolutely, man I always wondered why it feels a bit underwhelming and yeah for sure Nick's voice and the production explain a lot.

I beg to differ:
Plague>Faith>Medusa>Requiem>Obsidian>Idol

Beyond the tragic veil of misery, there is a comfortable feel-good quality to this.

I still think Tragic Idol has one of Nick's best performances. The live shows of that album cycle are a different story... The production is loud and far from ideal, but it fits the oppressive vibe of the record as I've said before and the 2017 vinyl remaster helps a bit.
I'd go Obsidian/Plague>Tragic Idol/Faith>In Requiem>Medusa.
Either way, their 2007-present run has been phenomenal.
