Miss Machine is the best Dillinger album, unless you’re an originalist in which case CI is an acceptable answer. Killer is by far the worst one.

One of Us Is the Killer is their second best below Dissociation. Dillinger have one of the most unbelievable progressions i've heard in a band tbh i dont get why its such an insult to have Miss Machine on the bottom.

They more or less iterated on the MM sound for the rest of their career, with each album having a couple of tracks that branch out. Ire Works probably deviated the most. Unless you discovered the band in reverse order I just don’t see how anyone wouldn’t see it or care that the later albums are fairly derivative when it comes to their core sound

I liked Dissociation when it came out, but the only thing that stands out in my memory from it now is the violin solo on Low Feels Blvd. Meanwhile I remember Miss Machine coming out and changing the game with their new blueprint like it was yesterday

@Itwasthatwas: maybe we're approaching Dillinger's discog from much different perspectives. Dissociation stands out to me for being such a journey, a feels trip from front to back. One of Us Is the Killer is chock full of variety.
