Yeah the heavy crush of the guitar from the first couple releases is always great but the quality is still there on all these newer releases. You tell these guys know what their doing on their instruments and the vocals get better and better. I hope the production doesn't take over further on down the line and flatten out their presentation. A little less gloss would go a long way on their newer sound

Lore is a 5 and Reflections is a 4,5, that's one of the reasons this did't totally click with me. I don't think they are done with their heavy stoner doom brilliancy.

new album is absolutely fantastic. they maintained the newfound influences on this record but with guitar work and grooves that remind me more of Lore or Reflections. definitely bits of stoner doom riffing in there too, and some psychedelic funkiness. feels like a happy medium

New ones rules but honestly so does this! Vocals get iffy at times but otherwise I have very little complaints

The song Embers is next level of this. That riff at 3.33 and the guitar underneath is pure magic

100%. I'm completely in love with that section. So much so that I learned the first 4 minutes of the song just so I can jam with that section. Pure joy.

The vocals on this album are pretty bad. I wish the band would explore other options for vocal duties. Seems to be their weak point. Musically band is amazing ofc.
