Man great times. The first time I heard that track was a revelation, hearing the motifs get established and then just keep mutating over the course of the runtime, while the guitars move in and out of sync. One of the few times I was really blown away by an album in the last decade or so.

back then I didn’t even care, I was broke and writing music anyways so the recession didn’t even make a difference lol. now with wife, baby, career, mortgage on the line it’s a bit more stressful, but life is still great anyways. way less time to jam ulcerate and portal though which is a minus
