That one's a (distant) 3rd for me, I guess I could see it.

I'm not reading through 17 pages, do any of you chuckleheads think Eternal Summer is the best song?

Cause that's egregious.

Eternal Summer truly feels like it goes on for an eternity and is arguably the worst song here that I consistently skip.

I'm reading "this is soulless", "this is terrible after track 2", and I'm puzzled... How about the gut-wrenching Not the Same Anymore? How in the world is that uninspired?!

I revisited Not The Same Anymore last night and it is a pretty great tune. The issue is that I usually turn this album off long before I reach that point.

"hardly anything on their discography qualifies as gut-wrenching lets not fool ourselves"

I was gonna say this when I first saw that comment, but I held off.

The universe works in mysterious ways...

But yeah, "gut-wrenching" is a stretch

I was referring to that particular song when I used the word gut-wrenching, not their overall sound, which is more angular, suave, and lightly nostalgic. But Ize of the World, Metabolism, 80s Comedown Machine, Chances, and Ode to the Mets evoke similar poignant emotions.

People who give this repeated listens will be rewarded, unless they exclusively look for rockers.

My repeated listens of Bad Decisions have not been rewarded, unless ear cancer is the reward.
