I can understand not enjoying this record, but slapping this with a 1.5/5 comes off a little hyperbolic. I may have been able to understand where the reviewer was coming from if they did a better job about specifically critiquing it's inadequacies. While issues are briefly mentioned, there is little attempt to provide depth to those opinions. Why are the lyrics unimaginative? How do you feel having non existent bass negatively impacts ABR's sound?

Yeah I thought this was super solid

Damn I've been doing it all wrong

"My biggest problem with ABR is that their records are always way too goddamn long. A solid 35 min ABR record with zero filler would rule so hard"
Agreed hard. They could definitely stand to trim the fat of of their albums because every one they've made is guilty of it

To the people saying they should just make a 35 min album.
"JB mentioned that unline all the albums up to this where he wrote almost all of the songs, Dustin did a majority of the song writing because JB became a Dad. He also mentioned that instead of having 12 different parts to incorporate into the song, he'd axe off half of them and only do 6 to "streamline" the songs a little bit."
I mean they already released 3 singles before the album came out, you can count that as 8 songs out of 11 if you listen to the singles.

Yea the more I listen to this, the more I'm enjoying it. Nothing spectacular, but I don't think I can say that for any of their albums really. Just a solid, enjoyable listen with some fairly catchy moments sprinkled throughout.
¯_(ツ)_/¯

The more I listen to this band the more I realize R&R was the best thing they'll ever do

Yeah. Pretty extreme take but the three after it are just b-sides.
