This is strongly holding on as my AOTYSF, and kinda been disappointed nothing’s hit me on such a level as this so far; I had hopes for Halsey and Phantogram, but those fizzled themselves into honorable mention status and I REALLY NEED TO CATCH UP WITH THIS YEAR DAMMIT.

i mean you say you're disappointed by the fact that nothing else this year has been quite on this level for you but this is apparently 5/5-level. so logically you're hoping that another 5 will come along this year, and i feel like a lot of years there just isnt more than one 5 to give out, if there's any records deserving of that score at all. hence the prospect of another 5 coming along is optimistic maybe?
