No rock/metal drummer handles the cymbals the way Leggio does.

This is a good intro to their discog imo.

If you like the weirder parts of this, start at the beginning.

Otherwise go backwards.

I'd agree with that ^^^ The one thing to remember, is this does need a few listens. One random listen won't probably be enough.

Just revisited this, I have a slight feeling to grow on this. I'll re-think that 2.5 on another couple of spins.

Really tried to get into this, but can't for some reason. Will need to check after another break I guess

Mark Zonder?

This album definitely takes a few listens to get into, and you can't be in the mood for some pummeling metal.

Mark Zonder and Norm Leggio handle drum duties in totally different ways. I don't think there's another metal drummer out there with the flair of Zonder.

What's noticeable is that Leggio does nothing fancy with the cymbals, but still one adequately accustomed to Psychotic Waltz, can tell it's him.

And yeah, Mark Zonder is a master when it comes to cymbal patterns.

I'm half way through this album There's some good music parts, but damn the singer very cheesy makes the listening experience hard when he's singing.

I can't believe this only came out in February. Haven't listened since then, but I still dig the sound a lot.
