I've done that before and it takes mad effort, now my ratings are useless.

damn. surprised (and glad!) to see 'The Seer' survive as one of your remaining 5/5s.

the taylor swift doc is watchable fluff but just another edition of taylor writes her own narrative. as expected

Her own narrative about what? Does it cover controversial stuff on her? Haven't been keeping up with her for a while

i haven't seen it yet but the critical consensus is that the documentary is just a very curated look into her life. it purports to be candid and real but actually feels "scripted" in the sense that she is just letting you see things that will come off a certain way.

Yeah this has fallen off for me too. It's on par with Red now, meaning the bottom half of her discography.

The more I listen to this, the better it gets, truly.

Cruel Summer, Lover, I Think He Knows, Cornelia Street, Daylight, all gems.

Just wish Me! had an entirely different production, maybe something like Death By A Thousand Cuts, and no Urie. And You Need To Calm Down could have been country.

This is inconsistent as all hell and just barely a step up from Reputation

Cornelia Street is a real highlight, though

pretty much agreed, unfortunately. I still think "Cruel Summer" and "I Think He Knows" are bops, though

Tempted to 3 it just for "The Archer" and "Soon You'll Get Better" but honestly the fact that they're so good just makes this album more frustrating

If she made an EP of all the minimalist synth and country tracks she does on this I'd 4 it
