You’re in for a ride

imo it works better if you listen to it in the dark, the whole thing just swallows you

Spoiler: it sounds amazing!... seriously though that’s crazy if you ordered before/at the time of release. Maybe you didn’t idk.

I pre-ordered back in June but it seems the post office lost my package, so I am just now receiving a new one lol.

Definitely gonna listen later tonight with some high quality headphones

Sweet, although I think their previous material has a better mix this still their best

Lázaro grew so hard on me over time, arguably one of Fernando’s best performances, dude just sounds tortured on it and I think the song successfully encapsulates all of the record’s emotions

I'm actually quite sad to see that Dolor from the Alphabiotista EP isn't on here. That's probably my favorite song from them

Agreed that one rules but you’ll probably find out it actually doesn’t really fit with this record at all, in fact I think that came from the Principia sessions they been playing it since like 2014

Oh shit, you're right! It's on their 2014 Audiotree session, which I've watched, and yet somehow never even realized that it wasn't a new song when listening to the EP. Oopsie poopsie!

Just a friendly reminder that this record is still incredible. Bless MarsKid for this review (wherever you are these days).

Oh yeah, this band is pretty much the most promising, solid post-hardcore band out there rn

They haven't transcended, they ARE post-hardcore.

For those invested in the genre, they are the de facto champions these days.

I wouldn't argue against that, though when I think of the genre on a more strict fashion I think of Principia, which they also nailed, this one absorbs so much more influence

Love the crust and black influences on El Alphabiotista I remember the first time I heard it and saw the video just being blown thinking of how far they've come

This is the sound of a genre being advanced. Other bands need to be furiously jotting down notes. I'm tired of all these 'screaming tenor' vocals, you feel?
