i really hope this gets remixed and remastered someday. there is an excellent album underneath this mix. i just don't understand what is going on with the guitars. i can barely hear what they are doing half the time. drums and bass sound ok. vocals are below average. and the guitars are just wack.

"drums and bass sound ok"

Really? there are points here where it sounds to me like the drums were just straight-up not mic'ed properly. Still agree that a remaster would push this into 4-4.5 territory tho

they're not good, they're average, but maybe i'm just focused on the worse parts.

A live version of this would suffice.

A live version of their entire discography with decent production would suffice...

I paid 30 for mine, that's not bad at all considering the show they gave

Yeah the show was great, definitely glad I checked it out. Gina is insanely good live, I didn't really know what to expect but I figured whoever was replacing their previous lead guitarist Peter Adams would need to be up to par, but holy heck she blew my mind. Absolutely incredible guitarist that really fits well with the band.

Okay, the production really takes this down. I still feel their production has potential but they never get it to truly shine, it's way to fuzzy and distorted

I have never had a problem with the production on this album because the songwriting more than makes up for it. An order of magnitude better than Yellow & Green and Purple.

The songwriting is awesome, no doubt.

You can't really make up for bad production, it just degrades your final product, which sucks. This record is cool in the songwriting department for sure
