This started to wear off from initial impressions, and I think the reason lies on the lyrics.

It had an impact on first listen. Upon repeats everything seems to blend together to much, atmospheric to a fault. 'Waltz on Water' is absolutely glorious though. Will keep listening though.

"I read this review all the way thinking "classic sowing" only to realize in the comment section that this is not a Sowing review."

I'm flattered tbh; this review is superb.

lol likewise - flattered this got mistaken for a Sowing review! album's still as good as my first listen

"Colorless" is threatening to unseat "As Above, So Alone" as my favorite track on here - album as a whole is growing on me

As Above has fallen for me, maybe bottom 3 if I had to choose. But Colorless is top tier

forgive me if this has already been discussed, but the singers for this band and polyenso sound like the exact same lmao, it's pretty uncanny.

there are definitely times when they sound super similar, but I'd say this guy has more range and versatility
