Been listening to this non-stop for the last week. Would have been in my top 5 2018, but I got to it too late.

Typically I'm not a huge fan when bands lay on the faith-based lyrics, but in today's climate with everybody being so afraid to offend or seem non-inclusive, it was actually really refreshing how candid they are about it. I love it, and they are still just so talented that it never came off preachy. They just said fuck it, this is who we are and its what we love.

I need to listen to this more. Emery was always one of my favorites, but this came out the same time as mwY and I just couldn’t devote a lot of time to it. Streets of Gold is my jam though

Streets of Gold is probably the most accessible track here and one of the best, agreed. Name Your God and Sins of Every Father still don't get enough love though

Sins of Every Father sounds the most like something off Shallow Seas imo.

After about 8 or 9 runs through, this does almost nothing for me. Maybe two or three tracks stand out overall. I have never rated an emery album below 3.5, but this, this is gonna have to sit at 2.5. Sorry folks.

This had some great vocal melodies on it but didn’t strike me as nearly as memorable as some of their prior albums

Alot of these melodies and guitar parts are ingrained in my head.

I'm still not sure I'm sold on this thing over all as it's hella long but there is some absolutely fantastic material here
