true friends. This was the first full record I've heard from them and initially I though (and still do) that the first part was much better than the second one. Then, actually the last tracks grew on me quite a bit. Still, now I fully entered their full discog work, this must be the most pop/ commercial one and prob there's only a few tracks I'll take from this. Still a really cool release from an established band.

Really liking this album. Agree that the pacing is spot on but the only thing it lacks is a standout track like Cirice or Absolution I feel. Faith is close though

I love both of them, second half of Helvetesfonster is the best moment on the album.

'Faith' is a banger through and through.

So @Titan... It's happening:

"Hits Daily Double reports that Prequelle is likely to enter the US Billboard charts at No.3, having sold between 49,000 and 54,000 copies. The band’s previous studio album, 2015’s Meliora, reached No.8 in the US."

The instrumentals sound really 70s proggy and I dug that a lot, cheesy keyboard is a delicacy.

The keyboard/piano/synth work on this thing is really good.

I swear I keep expecting the opening vocals after the initial piano on Pro Memoria to start with "Turn around, every now and then I get a little bit lonely". Loving the album. Would much prefer Ghost on the radio than most bands getting airplay these days.

It's cheesy in a good way. What do you guys think of Ghost's covers?

Freaking love them. "Prequelle" had 4 versions with a different 4th horseman in a different place. I have the bottom right one.

The album cover was fantastic! Glad I wasn't the only one who thought that. What about the bonus songs that they covered on "Prequelle?" No one has talked about them yet. They had two cover songs.

The Pet Shop Boys is pretty cool but I love the original so I am biased. The Leonard Cohen I guess it's well done but I didn't dig it much.

Neat, I didn't know about this. My version has a horseman bottom left, Aussie limited version with the bonus tracks and a lenticular card of the album art (same horseman position on that, too). What are the other variations?
