The closer is one of the best songs they've ever written. Whole album feels more mature than their past work, with the exception of Sad & Sober.

man I just can't get into this. TGG is one of my favorite albums but this LP just sounds like overproduced inspirational pop rock or something like that.

As amazing as TGG is, I think y'all are over hyping it relative to both albums that came after it. The last 4 albums including this from TWY are all phenomenal.

I don't think they'll ever top Suburbia for me, but that's because those songs are about the small rural/suburban Pennsylvanian town next to mine so everything is very personal. TGG is more explosive but Suburbia is just consistently a punch in the gut for me.
