Not a fan, but I liked one or two songs and i loved that they tried to change their approach and style.

It doesn't hold a candle to Firepower though which i believe is their best work since Painkiller.

Crucify me, but I enjoyed this way more than Painkiller. PK became stale after a while, this just keeps on growing.

I agree, this has a good replay value.

This is awesome but Painkiller has endured the test of time for a good reason.

I mean it's not Painkiller but it's not much worse

They are doing this album a massive disservice by only playing the first 3 tracks live. No Surrender and Never the Heroes should absolutely be on the setlist.

I'm guessing they're doing the fan service of playing the hits instead of more newer tracks.

they actually pulled out some deep cuts at the show -- Sinner, Saints In Hell, Some Head Are Gonna Roll, Running Wild, Grinder, Bloodstone...things that haven't been played much, in a long time, or ever.

Its true they did. Literally every song on the new album is better than Running Wild though.

The solos on here are tasty af. And Rising from Ruins riffs for days.

Not a popular choice, but I'd love to hear them play You Don't Have to Be Old

lol nope, everything they did in the 70's is better than Painkiller, well at least to me.

They did well in the 70s, with the exception of Rocka Rolla, but Painkiller remains their best to me. Sad Wings and Stained Class are cool tho

I don't want them to continue too much longer without Glenn or KK. One more tour (Painkiller anniversary) and they should pack it in imo.

IMMOLATE THE BHOOAAADIIEEEEESSS.

I'm not gay or anything but I would let Halford dom me purely out of respect for his vocal performance on this album.

We'll see how it goes in the moment, but it could swing either way tbh.
