this album sucks, but it's a sure 5/5 if you know what I mean

I would say on an objective note that Powerslave is their best album, but I have an extreme soft spot for this record. Also I love Blaze as vocalist here, he really improved from X Factor.

I've never really been a fan of these guys, but I do listen to their albums when they come out because I'm always willing to be surprised (case in point this and Powerslave) but yeah most of their stuff I'm not a fan of.

counterclockwise discog walk; stop, here; ahhhhh, after the great BNW album, bad anticipation, not nice, lets see, I dont remembered anything on this LP. "Lightning Strikes Twice/The Clansman/The Educated Fool, are superb pieces. Real uneven LP. Still, dont like the vocalist (because we all compare him to Bruce)

Edit: Pretty average, as always, guitarist duo is great, and here they save this album from complete disaster. Instrumentation are very good. Rate bump.

@Fr33lord: Blaze's solo albums are better than this tbh. But Maiden had to remain Maiden so it was hard to adapt to his style for them. This album is still much better than X Factor which would have been better with Bruce.
