^ yeah definitely, this band used to be one of my very faves but I've grown off them a whole lot. not sure why or how but it is an ever growing feeling

I've been jamming these guys since like 2006-2007 too but I'm still loving everything they do tbh.

it is a great return to form after their last one but it doesn't come close to nocturnal or ritual for me

Def not close to Nocturnal because none of them are but I'd put this ahead of Ritual for sure. Idk maybe I'm just a fanboy.

I liked this one a good amount. It was their first album that really clicked with me, but I'm pretty sure that's my fault, not the band's.

m/ in any case

i think it's better than both nocturnal and ritual. the polish is much greater and the leads are way better than on nocturnal, and it's more memorable than ritual

Seriously love the hell out of this album. I jammed it throughout October and November of last year, and decided to give it a spin at work last night. It's so ridiculously back loaded, it's insane. The last three tracks flow together so nicely.

Brandon Ellis joining this band really gave them a renewed sense of energy, that IMO, was a bit lacking in their previous two efforts.

now that I can understand the lyrics better it definitely has become more solid of an album, and The Lonely Deceased has creeped up to become a close fav
