So should I bother checking this?

Damn Evo I thought that would have been a very unpopular opinion

FiFAP is nearly on par with R&R and Constellations imo
i'm kind of a sucker for the more post-rock-y interludes on that album, and imo the last 3 or 4 tracks are the best stretch of songs on any of their albums

Martyr alone raises the score of FiFAP by like 1 for me, that song is so above the rest it's crazy

Constellations is best with R&R/L tied for close second. I'm not sure where this one ranks but I love it and those signature melodic guitar leads are something I always associate with ABR. There's enough heavy stuff on here to satisfy that side of the equation as well even if there's nothing quite as nasty as Escape Artist or Rationalist. I would say start with whatever you want Lucca, just not Messengers or FIFAP.

Leveler second is blasphemy

To be fair I've listened to Leveller a hell of a lot more. I didn't appreciate R&R till pretty recently. Still stand by Leveller being the overlooked record of the bunch.

It's not a bad album, but nothing spectacular either. Just a solid album, much like this one

Constellations and Leveler and my top 2. R&R is 3rd although I don't care much about their other albums other than those top 2.

Leveller gives me warm fuzzies. You can't take that away from me!

They sounded heaviest on those 2 imo. Now they got these soaring melodies and major key riffs that kinda turn me off.

Messengers had the greatest breakdown ever on it though, in Back Burner.
