There's not a single track in here that I don't enjoy, it's an "All killer, no filler" type of scenario.

Yeah... Violent Waves is pretty clearly the weakest, but even that's a solid album. I think I have it at a 3.5 or a 4.

The Amulet is great, definitely not the weakest Circa album.

There's no such thing as weak when it comes to Circa. Only great and even better.

always found with em the odd numbered albums are the only ones that completely blow me out of the water and the even numbered albums are all solid as well but a little less engaging for me. tho on letting go has majorly been growing on me lately so idk how much weight that still holds

Violent Waves gets more shit than it should, the album is fantastic. the first half is pretty godly.

Yeah, I mean it's the "weakest" for me simply because I can't pick between them. It's like they're all tied for best but that one is just sliiightly behind the rest.

Violent Waves is great. Most of the songs are longer than average though and it's definitely their most "chill" album. I think it's just a bit harder to commit to listening to the whole thing compared to their other albums. I adore the production though. The album literally bleeds into space. Suitcase is one of my favorite Circa songs and Brother Song -> Bird Sounds -> Blood From A Stone is one hell of a knockout combo.

Second half has some pretty good and underrated/underplayed tracks too.

Bird Sounds and Blood From A Stone are great. The rest are definitely on the lower side but that's not saying much when talking about Circa

I can't wait to see what these guys do next. Any idea when they could be announcing the next album? I would imagine it's late this year or early-ish next year right? They have been pretty consistent on that 2 year cycle.

Man I wish they go back with Brian McTernan to produce their next album. It hasn't been the same since OLG for me, even though I like all of their work.
