Yep. If self-titled was re-recorded now by the current band, I'd probably love it. It just sounds very immature as a Queens record. Rated-R I love, I just don't listen to it all the way through anymore.

EV had the benefit of being a unique album in their discog too, this sounds like an amalgamation of their previous 3. I think EV and this are pretty much equal in terms of quality though

EV is more industrial and heavy, but still pretty diverse. Still a few songs I'm not crazy about on there, which puts it in line with this. The s/t is certainly better than it or this. Those are bottom 3 QotSA

Oh yeah EV has some not-so-good tracks for sure. It has some of the band's weakest tracks aka Run Forest Run or whatever it's called.
S/T is one of my favs actually. I would say this, EV, and LtP are the bottom 3.
