On my seventh listen now and it still keeps growing. They really outdid themselves here

I don't think I've experienced such complexity in a metal album since Incurso

I really hate them odd robotic cynic-like vocals. Everyone seems to like them which never was something I understood. Otherwise the composition off this album is gorgeous and perplexing.

They're surely odd but I think they fit the mood surprisingly well

That last track was goddamn stunning. I feel like Persefone is at their best when they're calm and mellow, although they have some pretty explosive faster parts as well. Not quite as good as Core or Spiritual Migration but still fucking solid.

Also I mean they don't necessarily hurt the mood but I just never really digged them(the robot vocals that is)

I understand you lol, they're not my cup of tea either but as long as they're not ruining the mood it's fine

I've always loved this band for its ability to combine their gorgeous melodic sound with their twisted mucisianship and songwriting to create an unique atmosphere. I feel like I get all of that in this album.

Lol yeah, they're just super ethereal and know how to flaunt their talents without making them a crutch.

I've listened through the whole discog once now, and this is my ranking so far:
1. Core
2. Spiritual Migration
3. Shin-Ken/Asthma
But that could all change after a second listen.

This is good but it loses my attention too quickly. It picks up after Living Waves and I really like the second half.

I surrender. What a journey this album is. I haven't felt such a capturing atmosphere since Core. I feel like they finally succeeded on what they were trying to acheive in Spiritual Migration, while still remembering what made them so fantastic in the first place. I dont know if it will hold, but for now it really is a 5.

Just curious, what keeps your interest during the first half?

Everything. There is soooooo much stuff going on, but with the fullest attention and the broader picture always in mind, everything serves a purpose. Then again, I'm a huge fanboy, so take those words as you will.

@sinternet What annoys me about you is that you bluntly say a band sucks without any reason why. I feel like you are just ignorantly trolling us honestly. Are you some dunce who isn't educated in progressive music? Because you certainly sound like it.

I can proudly say that I have enjoyed every song on this album.. They are all very creative and so moving to the soul... Simply incredible stuff.

4.8/5 in my book everyone. ;D
