Nice, can't wait to hear the new tunes. I wonder if they will tie the album to a specific HPL story like in the past or do a more eclectic Lovecraftian smorgasbord. Either way I'm a giant sucker for it, gimmick or not.

They did the two most epic stories though. The rest are more intimate. I suppose they could do Call Of Cthulhu.

The two most epic being Mountains of Madness and Shadow Over Innsmouth?

Aye. Shadow might not be epic on the surface, but it implicates vast things underneath.

My personal favorite is The Dunwich Horror tied with Mountains but even some of the lesser stories could make compelling metal albums imo.

You can usually get a sizable collection of his stories for cheap at Barnes and Noble. He's got some great stuff.

A bonus is the vast culture around Lovecraft. There's an endless supply of music, books, comics, docs, videos, podcasts and games in the mythos.

Ah I see you're still a level one cultist, unable to process the words correctly and not least, directly.
But fear not, subconsciously they are at full swing, transforming your brain into a conduit for the old ones.
