I could explain, what with my capacity as being sputnik’s biggest resident Afi stan and all, but the last half dozen or so comments prior to this made me not wanna

I remember desperation. Devastation. All I truly known is isolation. Self-damnation. All light that I’d own was shed and worthless now.

they played that when I saw them and it was pretty outstanding

By far their most underrated, underappreciated, misunderstood album
From top to bottom, this is as good a record as Decemberunderground, and this is better than Crash Love. It's no Sing the Sorrow, but that album is a masterpiece. Everything before Sing the Sorrow was garbage.
Even though a lot of the songs blend in to each other and sound the same...AFI somehow pulls it off....and this is probably the 2nd best record in their discography.
They never fail.

Theres an interview where the band talks about how many songs were actually recorded to create each album and it is incredible how many unreleased B-Sides exist. For DU for example they said there are around 60 completed songs. Jade said he has an iPod with everything they've recorded. All the STS, DU and CL B-Sides have been awesome so I'm hoping those keep popping up.

the dicks i would suck to get those... their b-sides are often better than whats on the album too

i would kill for that iPod or for them to just release a ton of old B-Sides.

i would love for this to grow on me like Burials did. Initially this was so much better but idk, still feels thin. but I don't wanna lower my rating because this kinda came at the perfect time

I'm not gunna lie, I spun this like 3 or 4 times and did not care for it at all. Pleasant, but it did nothing for me really.

Burials finally grew on me after several years. This only took like 3 listens for me, it's a damn near-perfect album though I admittedly can't listen to Snowcats anymore (too catchy).
