My wife and I went to the Coheed/tbs/foxing show last night in Chicago and while we went in knowing that tbs (specifically Adam) havnt sounded good in a few years, holy shit… he sounded awful. They could have tossed me up there and I could have done his songs more justice. He was either drunk, on something or REALLY REALLY trying to overcompensate for his awful live vocals by being way over the top with his dancing and mic swinging. Fred is touring with them in place of John Nolan and I am inclined to think Adam may be the reason John Nolan is stepping back. Sincerely one of the worst lead singer showings I have ever seen. Fred and their bassist did their best to take over vocals a fair bit, but Adam was just intolerable.

As an example: can’t look back is one of my favorites off this record and when they played it last night it took me until almost the chorus to even figure out what song they were playing because of how off beat and mumbly Adam sounded. He just seemed absolutely winded the whole show.

Fair enough, I havnt followed their drama over the years. All I know is Adam sounds worse every time I see them and he looked like an imbecile on stage. The rest of the band sounded tight as ever and Fred sounded great.
