it's faded a bit, but you'd be annoyed too if it clogged up your Twitter feed for 2 months straight

Duh, I wouldn't have blocked the hashtag if I was able to stand it to begin with. also I use twitter because objectiely speaking it's the only social network that isn't complete shit

I find the immense rise of harambe from a psychological perspective, fascinating. in 2016, out of all the incoming information from news media, we chose to make a gunned down gorilla our martyr, our christ, above all other incidents.... we are definitely in a strange time

Is everything new strange? That's a pretty massive generalization. It's a matter of perspective.

Is this album new? Yes, temporally. Is it musically strange? Not really. It's a pretty standard lo fi BM album. Is it strange that it's a parody and continuation of a strange cultural fascination with a dead gorilla? Yeah, personally, I find that a bit strange.

Fair. It's like he doesn't like BM but continues to listen to it and rate it poorly.

"Is everything new strange?"

Every time something different happens, people say "oh what a strange time we live in."

Harambe memes. Strange times.

Limp Bizkit put out a new album. Strange times.

Personal computers with electronic mail? Strange times.

the actor Ronald Reagan is president? Strange times.

Rock bands wear tight pants and makeup? Strange times.

Bands promoting the occult and satanism are popular? Strange times.

African Americans can have their own sitcoms? Strange times.

No more Jim Crowe? Strange times.

Women can vote now? Strange times.

It can apply to any new development in society. Not specifically in regards to the content of this music, but the theme, art, and context in which it was released, yes.
