Great review!

I don't think I've heard anything so refreshing in thrash metal since Mental Vortex and Grin.

Yeah. I can't remember the last time I was so floored by an album on a first listen. This may very well be Rust in Peace 2.0

I wouldn't say that, it has elements of Black Future and Outer Isolation. Kinda takes the best of both and combines them. It's not the second coming though, just seems like the logical continuation of those albums.

I never thought they could top Black Future, but I'll be damned if they didn't do just that!

"this is up there with Paracletus for my favourite metal albums of this decade"

we'll see how that holds up when the jizz settles. sure this is good, but by no means the best thing since sliced wrists.

The jizz may take a long time to settle for me personally. It's like a death grip on miracle whip up in here.

for me this was pretty solid throughout and there are some really awesome tracks on here, but kind of lost track in the middle. the first and final two songs were pretty sweet though.

when it comes to epic progressive metal albums of 2016 though, Schammasch - Triangle holds the upper hand for me.

Album of the decade wise, Colored Sands is up there for me. DsO can go fuck themselves, Gorguts did it long before them.
