was talking about the album with someone and they sorta described it as their anti-TPAB, representing opposite ends of the spectrum and succeeding in areas where hip-hop (stereo)typically shouldn't go

I can see that. If anything TPAB tries really hard to coalesce many of the foundations of hip-hop, whereas this tries to rip them to shreds.
