sure did rowan, we'll see if it ends up being a 5 that stands the test of time but at the current moment it's been absolutely perfect for me and i can't find any faults with it so why not
and i've missed seeing this avatar too, or even seeing her for that matter, been wayyyy too long since i watched the show

My only complaint really is that Laundered and Coda kinda slip by me but the rest is spectacular. The Indica/Winding Cloth combo in particular is some of 2015's best shit
amped for the new series??? can't believe we're getting new Twin Peaks and X-Files in the same two years holy balls

funny you mention that since those four songs are honestly probably the weakest for me but they're still top notch of course. winding cloth was actually the only one of those i liked for the longest time but the others eventually grew on me soooo hard. almost no doubt glass coughs/eiffel will go down as one of my favorite song sequences of the year for sure tho
dude you have no idea, especially now that lynch is back in! i really need to watch at least some of the old x files before the new ones since i haven't seen em ever, good thing they're on netflix but it's pretty daunting ngl

Winding Cloth has to be my favourite instrumental of this year, absolutely gorgeous. Eiffel is incredible too, that chorus
There's a looot of shit in the X-Files which is what happens when you have 24 eps per season but the good stuff is amazing, definitely worth it

god that's so many episodes. def gonna see how far i can get before january hits tho, good thing i desparately need a new show to watch anyways hahaha
|

It is a long haul but you can pretty much skip Season 9 unless you really want to dig into that mythology. Otherwise there's usually only 7-8 eps per season that actually advance the whole aliens invading storyline that runs over, the rest is just fun misadventures
and agreed. I just marathoned Buffy and now I need something else to fill that hole

Oh, well. I already saw them once. I'm sure they'll be back soon.
Anyway, I think I'm starting to prefer this the Albatross mostly because that album feels like 3 or 4 songs mixed in with a bunch of song ideas. It feels.... incomplete in a lot of ways- even if I still love it.

yeah I tried to hit on that in my review a bit...this album sounds like a complete album instead of an attempt at making a complete album yknow

albatross would be better if it had this production

More varied but less complete and fulfilling imo.
And I really like The Albatross, but this blows that out of the water.
