Absolutely love this album!

What on earth. I ignored this when it came out. Not a fan of alt-rock even if it's mixed. Usually.

This is so bizarre. It works, but it shouldn't. I'm hearing a spattering of....Breaking Benjamin? Shiny Toy Guns? Big Wreck? Deftones? Funeral for a Friend? Bare minimum, in the lead vocalist. Short, simple songs. But the heavier influences and passionate vocal delivery and great melodies make this work. Wow. Pleasantly surprised.

"Animal" is my favorite so far. Easy listen. Love this.

Bumping because I ended up venturing down the Fightstar rabbit hole on YouTube then got bitter because I had to resell my ticket to their last London show due to starting a new job less than a week before and having Christmas training the same night. I naively thought 'they'll come back relatively soon', and then Charlie rejoined Busted a few weeks later...



These guys need to come back, I would have loved to have seen a 'One Day Son...' anniversary tour, that would have been amazing...

I certainly hope they come back again. This album was my starting point for this band, have since gone back and jammed their older stuff. They've become one of my favorites. I want mooooore.

Much as I love this album, I hope their song structures aren't quite so simple next time around. Assuming there is a next time.
